1/2 (2h-4)=20 ----> First divide by 1/2 which is the same as multiplying by 2

2h - 4 = 40 ----> Add 4 to both sides.

2h = 44 ----> Divide both sides by 2.

h = 22

I hope this helps!!!

First: move the 1/2 over to the other side of the equal sign. 2h - 4 = 40

Next: add 4 to both sides. 2h = 44

Finally: divide both sides by 2. h = 22
