What can be used in astronomy to help estimate the surface temperature of a star?

Astronomers measure the temperatures of the surfaces of stars by making a comparison of their spectra to the spectrum of a black body, and black body is the one that absorbs all the radiation strike on it. Temperature of black body is known and hence surface temperature can be found.
