how do i get x alone in this equation:x-347÷8=52

Divide -347 by 8 to get -43.375
Move the constant (-43.375) to the right to get x=52+43.375 
X is now alone.

To continue solving just add the number and then x will equal 95.38

First you add 347 to 52 which gives you 399 then you divide 399 by 8 which gives you 49.875 so the answer is 49.875
